Breakfast will be awesome again with this Loaded Baked Egg Casserole! It will only take you an hour to prepare and cook this dish. It is something you must have if you want only the best things for your loved ones. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1/2 c whole milk
12 large Eggs
1 lb. bacon, cooked and chopped
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp fresh ground black pepper
2 c shredded cheddar cheese, I use medium-sharp
28 oz. frozen potatoes with peppers and onions, thawed
1 1/2 tsp kosher salt
12 oz. breakfast sausage roll, uncooked, or ground sausage of choice
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat it to 190 degrees C or 375 degrees F.
Apply cooking spray to a 9×13-inch baking pan.
Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium. Add the sausage, then cook for a few minutes until crumbly and brown. Transfer the sausage to the prepared baking pan.
Add cheese, bacon, and potatoes into the baking pan with sausage. Toss everything until well incorporated.
Add salt, pepper, eggs, garlic, and milk into a mixing bowl. Beat until well blended.
Add the egg mixture on top of the hash brown mixture in the baking pan and spread it evenly.
Place the baking pan in the preheated oven and bake the casserole for about 35 to 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean after inserting it in the middle.
Remove the casserole from the oven and allow it to rest for a few minutes at room temperature.
Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes:
You can make this casserole the night before. Just follow steps 1 to 6, then cover it with plastic. Place it in the fridge overnight. Thaw at room temperature for half an hour before tossing in the preheated oven.
Place any leftovers in an airtight container, then put them in the fridge. They can last up to 5 days.
