Ingredients:
3-4 pounds bottom round roast
2 teaspoons minced garlic
2 teaspoons dried basil
2 teaspoons dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon Kosher salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons oil
Directions:
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 220 degrees C or 450 degrees F.
Step 2: Remove the roast from the refrigerator and the pack.
Step 3: Put the roast on a chopping board.
Step 4: Generously brush with olive oil the roast.
Step 5: In a small mixing bowl, add all the ingredients for the seasonings. Stir until well combined.
Step 6: Rub the greased roast with the mixed seasonings.
Step 7: In a cast-iron skillet, add the seasoned roast.
Step 8: Add the seasoned roast inside the preheated oven and cook for about 20 minutes.
Step 9: Turn the heat down to 170 degrees F and cook for a few more minutes until cooked to your preference.
Step 10: Remove from the oven and place it on a clean cutting board.
Step 11: Slice into pieces.
Step 12: Serve and enjoy!
Note:
Cooking time depends on the sized of the roast so make sure to adjust.
