These cookies are a huge part of my childhood! They were always my snack food. My classmates could not get enough of it either. We share snacks and these cookies were always a hit. Now, that I am a grown-up, I still enjoy making and eating these cookies. They remind me of the good old days! I hope you all love this recipe. Feel free to add more ingredients if you prefer. I mean, this recipe is already solid but I recommend that you give it your take. Enjoy!

1 cup packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 cup real maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 teaspoons baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
4 cups all-purpose flour
⅓ cup granulated sugar for decoration
Directions:
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Step 2: Apply cooking spray in cookie sheets.
Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, add in the brown sugar and butter. Whisk until creamy.
Step 4: Add in the egg, vanilla, and syrup. Whisk until well mixed.
