Every time I serve these amazing treats, my friends just could not get enough of them! I can’t blame them because they taste so good! Give this recipe a try and it won’t disappoint you; I promise! Have a blessed day, friends. Enjoy!
8 oz cream cheese at room temperature
1 1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp ground cumin
1 c cheddar cheese shredded
1 c cooked chicken breast shredded
1/2 c salsa whichever brand you like
3 tbsp fresh cilantro chopped (optional)
1/2 green bell pepper seeded and diced
1/2 red bell pepper seeded and diced
3 10-inch flour tortillas
Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, add the garlic powder, cream cheese, cumin, and oregano. Stir until well mixed.
Step 2: Add in the chicken, salsa, and cheese. Stir until well mixed.
Step 3: Add in the bell peppers and cilantro. Stir until well combined.
Step 4: Place a tortilla on a cutting board and place 1/3 of the filling in the middle. Spread the filling evenly with a spoon.
Step 5: Roll the tortilla up and form a log shape out of it.
Step 6: Repeat the process to the rest of the tortillas and filling.
Step 7: Cut the ends of the tortillas with a sharp knife, then cut the tortillas into half inches to make 8 pinwheels for each tortilla.
Step 8: Place them on a large serving plate.
Step 9: Serve warm and enjoy!
1. Cover the pinwheels with plastic wrap when serving for later. Place them in the fridge to chill.
2. The volume of the pinwheels depends on the size of the tortillas.
