Ingredients:
1 pkg yellow cake mix
2 Eggs, room temperature
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 c (113g) butter, melted
FILLING:
1 pkg (8 oz) cream cheese, room temperature
2 Eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 c (113g) butter, melted
4 c confectioners’ sugar
Directions:
1. Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
2. Add 2 eggs, cake mix, melted butter, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla into a medium mixing bowl. Use a fork to mash everything until well combined.
3. Apply cooking spray in a 9×3-inch round cake pan.
4. Transfer the mixture into the greased pan and spread it evenly on the bottom.
5. In the bowl of a stand mixer, add the rest of the eggs, cream cheese, melted butter, and vanilla. Beat until well combined.
6. Add the confectioners’ sugar gradually and beat every addition until well blended.
7. Spread the cream cheese mixture on top of the cake mixture.
8. Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for 45 minutes or until done.
9. Remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool completely at room temperature for a few minutes.
