If you want a quick and easy dessert to try today, then you have got to give this one a try! This Peach Dump Cake is insanely good! Serve it with ice cream on top, and you have yourself something to remember. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
29 oz. canned sliced peaches, in juice
2 c all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1 1/2 c granulated sugar, divided
1/2 c unsalted butter
1 c whole milk
1 tbsp pure vanilla extract
1/2 tsp kosher salt
Directions:
1. Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
2. Brush a 9×13-inch with butter. You can use two 8×8-inch baking dishes as well.
3. In a heat-proof bowl, add butter. Place it inside the microwave and heat for about a minute or until melted completely. Remove from the microwave.
4. Add salt, baking powder, 1 cup sugar, and flour into the bowl with the melted butter. Whisk until well incorporated.
5. Add vanilla and milk, then stir until well blended.
6. Transfer the batter to the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
7. Add the peaches on top of the batter. Arrange them around the pan and add the juice into a mixing bowl.
8. In the bowl with the peach juice, add cinnamon, nutmeg, and 1/2 cup of sugar. Whisk until well blended.
9. Pour the juice mixture on top of the peaches in the batter.
10. Place it inside the preheated oven and bake the batter for about an hour or until the top turns golden brown.
11. Remove from the oven and allow it to rest for a few minutes at room temperature.
12. Top each serving with a scoop of ice cream.
13. Serve and enjoy!
