It’s the quickest and easiest to make. Specially made for the peanut butter loves out there. It hits the right spot and you can have it all year round. Making this treat couldn’t be simpler. It is a classic and it reminds me of my childhood. Every time I make this, I feel like traveling back to the past. Reminiscing my childhood days, reminding me of a classic school treat. I love peanut butter ever since I can remember. I used to finish a tub of peanut butter spread in one sitting! And with this four-ingredient peanut butter balls, I get to enjoy peanut butter differently. Enjoy these balls of soft and irresistible peanut butter whenever you want. Make batches and store any leftover in an airtight container.
Ingredients
16 oz peanut butter
1 pound confectioners sugar
3/4 cup butter
semi-sweet chocolate chips
How to make Peanut butter balls aka Buckeye Balls
Step 1: Use a waxed paper to line a baking sheet and sheet aside.
Step 2: Combine the peanut butter, sugar, and 1 cup of butter in a medium bowl.
Step 3: Roll the mixture into balls and transfer them into the prepared baking dish.
Step 4: Place inside the fridge to chill for about 20 minutes.
Step 5: In a metal bowl over a pan of lightly simmering water, melt the chocolate chips while stirring occasionally until smooth.
Step 6: Once the chocolate chips are melted, it is time to remove the balls from the fridge.
Step 7: Use a wooden toothpick to insert into the balls. Dip the balls into the melted chocolate and put them back into the freezer to set for another 30 minutes.
