This recipe is a no-fail method for that perfectly baked chicken breasts. The breasts are rubbed and coated in a delicious seasoning, then baked to perfection. Ingredients
1 tbsp olive oil
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Rub:
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
4 tsp paprika
4 tsp brown sugar
How to make Perfect Baked Chicken Breast
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 450 degrees F.
Step 2: With olive oil, toss or brush the chicken.
Step 3: Combine the rub ingredients and sprinkle this over the chicken breasts, turning the chicken until well coated in the rub.
Step 4: Arrange the chicken breasts on a sturdy baking sheet, leaving 1 to 2 inches of space between the chicken breasts.
Step 5: Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 10 minutes. Flip the chicken breasts and resume baking for 12 to 15 minutes (5 ounces of chicken breasts), 15 to 20 minutes (if using 7 ounces of chicken breasts), or 20 to 25 minutes (11 ounces). The chicken is done when their internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.
Step 6: Take the baking sheet out of the oven when the chicken is done. Tent using a baking dish and let the chicken breasts sit for about 5 to 10 minutes.
Step 7: To a cutting board, transfer the baked chicken breasts and cut each chicken against the grain.
Step 8: Serve right away. Enjoy!
