I love this dish so much! Oh, man, you have got to bite your teeth into these Pork Chops and Scalloped Potatoes! Oh, man, you are so in for a treat, I’m telling you! I have listed all the ingredients and directions so all you have to do is to follow them step by step and you are good to go! Feel free to add more ingredients if you prefer. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
3 tbsp butter, divided
1 ½ tsp salt
¼ tsp ground black pepper
3 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 (14.5 oz) can of chicken broth
6 pork chops
6 c thinly sliced potatoes
1 dash paprika
Directions:
1. Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
2. Place a saucepan on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
3. Add 1 tbsp of butter and allow it to melt.
4. Add flour, salt, and pepper. Whisk and cook until just brown.
5. Add the chicken broth and stir until well mixed. Allow the mixture to boil.
6. Remove the pan from the heat.
7. Place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
8. Add 1 tbsp of butter and allow it to melt.
9. Add the pork chops and cook until brown.
10. Brush with butter a baking dish, then arrange the potatoes in it.
11. Spread the mixture on top of the potatoes.
12. Place the pork chops over the sauce, then sprinkle paprika.
13. Cover the baking dish, then place it inside the preheated oven.
14. Bake for about an hour.
15. Remove the cover and bake for another 30 minutes or until done.
16. Remove from the oven and allow it to cool at room temperature for a few minutes.
17. Serve and enjoy!
