How to make Quick and Easy 15 minute Chicken Pasta
Step 1: Bring 2 c of salted water to a boil in a medium saucepan. Add 1.5 c of uncooked pasta and 1 tsp salt. Put the lid on and cook the pasta for 10 minutes.
Step 2: In the meantime, slice the chicken breasts, onion, and bell peppers. In a heavy-duty pan or pot, heat 1 tbsp oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the onion and bell peppers. Saute for 1 to 2 minutes until tender. Then, toss in the garlic and cook for another 30 seconds until lightly golden. Next, add the chicken and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cook further until the chicken is browned and almost cooked through.
Step 3: Pour in the marinara sauce. Cover with the lid and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
Step 4: Drain and add the pasta to the chicken mixture after 5 minutes. Stir well, then add the cheese. Turn off the heat, but leave the lid on to melt the cheese. You can broil the cheese, if desired, until bubbly.
Step 5: Serve the Chicken Pasta immediately topped with Parmesan. Enjoy!
