Ravioli Lasagna is my favorite! This is super delicious, extra cheesy, and made with frozen ravioli instead of lasagna noodles. I’m sure that you’ll love every bite of this cheesy ravioli lasagna!
INGREDIENTS
1 large egg
1 lb. ground beef
1 small onion, diced
2 c. shredded mozzarella
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 c. ricotta cheese
24 oz. marinara
¼ c Parmesan cheese
¼ c. chopped parsley
25 oz. frozen cheese ravioli
minced parsley for garnish
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
HOW TO MAKE RAVIOLI LASAGNA
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees. Using a non-stick spray, grease a 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
Step 2: Add the ground beef and onion in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the beef until brown, breaking the meat into pieces as it cooks. Then, drain any excess grease from the pan.
Step 3: Pour in the marinara sauce and add the garlic. Let everything simmer for about 5 minutes over low heat, stirring often.
Step 4: In a small bowl, place the ricotta, egg, Parmesan, parsley, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well.
Step 5: Into the prepared baking dish, spoon 1/3 of the meat mixture, spreading it across the bottom. On top, add the ravioli in a single layer, followed by half of the ricotta mixture and 1/3 of the sauce. Do the same layers, ending in marinara sauce.
Step 6: On top, sprinkle the shredded mozzarella. Tightly cover the dish using foil and place it in the preheated oven. Bake for about 40 minutes. Uncover and continue baking for another 10 minutes.
Step 7: Take the dish out of the oven and sprinkle the minced parsley on top. Before slicing, allow the lasagna to set for about 10 minutes. Enjoy!
NOTES:
If you prefer, you can use cottage cheese instead of ricotta.
For this recipe, you can use any variety of frozen ravioli that you like.
