Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion diced
24 oz marinara
3 cloves garlic minced
2 c ricotta cheese
1 large Egg
¼ c parmesan cheese
¼ c chopped parsley
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
25 ounces frozen cheese ravioli
2 c shredded mozzarella
minced parsley for garnish
Directions:
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Step 2: Apply cooking spray in a 13×9-inch baking dish.
Step 3: Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Step 4: Add the ground beef and onion. Cook until crumbly and brown. Discard any excess grease.
Step 5: Add the garlic and marinara sauce. Reduce the heat to low and simmer everything for about 5 minutes.
Step 6: In a mixing bowl, add the Parmesan cheese, egg, ricotta, garlic powder, parsley, and onion powder. Stir until well combined.
Step 7: Transfer the meat mixture into the baking dish and spread it evenly on the bottom.
Step 8: Add 1 layer of ravioli, followed by 1/2 of the ricotta mixture, then 1/3 of the sauce. Repeat the process until everything is arranged in layers.
Step 9: Sprinkle a generous amount of the shredded cheese on top.
Step 10: Cover the baking dish with aluminium foil.
Step 11: Place the baking dish inside the preheated oven and bake for 40 minutes. Remove the foil cover and bake for another 10 minutes or until done.
Step 12: Remove the lasagna from the oven and add minced garlic over. Allow it to rest at room temperature for about 10 minutes.
