Packed with cheese, meat, marinara sauce, and a lot more, this Ravioli Lasagna is one to try! Surprise everyone with the best lasagna ever. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
3 cloves garlic, minced
¼ c chopped parsley
¼ c Parmesan cheese
1 tsp garlic powder
2 c ricotta cheese
1 small onion, diced
1 large Egg
½ tsp onion powder
24 oz. marinara
25 oz. frozen cheese ravioli
2 c shredded mozzarella
1 lb. ground beef
minced parsley for garnish
Directions:
1. Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
2. Apply cooking spray to a 13×9-inch baking dish.
3. Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
4. Add ground beef, then cook for a few minutes or until crumbly and brown.
5. Add onion, then sauté until soft. Discard any accumulated fat.
6. Reduce the heat to low, then add garlic and marinara sauce. Cook for about 5 minutes.
7. In a mixing bowl, add Parmesan cheese, egg, ricotta, onion powder, garlic powder, and parsley. Stir until well blended.
8. Add 1/3 of the meat mixture into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
9. Add a layer of ravioli, half of the ricotta mixture, and 1/3 of the sauce over the meat mixture. Repeat the process with the rest of the mixtures. Top everything with marinara sauce.
10. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
11. Cover the baking pan with aluminium foil.
12. Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 40 minutes.
13. Remove the foil cover, then bake for another 10 minutes or until the cheese turns golden brown.
14. Remove from the oven and allow it to rest for a few minutes at room temperature.
15. Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes:
Feel free to use cottage cheese instead of ricotta cheese.
You can use your preferred kind of ravioli as well.
