This recipe has always been a part of my family since I was a little kid. I remember my Grandma used to make this all the time! I am so grateful to her for teaching me this recipe because now, I get to share it with you guys! I have listed all the ingredients and directions so all you need to do is to follow them step by step and you are good to go! Feel free to tweak the recipe is to your liking! 1 pound skirt steak, thinly sliced into 1/4″ strips
Freshly ground black pepper
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon plus 1 tbsp. canola oil, divided
1 pound green beans, trimmed
3 cloves garlic, minced
3″ piece of ginger, peeled and grated
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
3 tablespoons sugar
2 green onions, chopped
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
Step 1: Use paper towels to pat dry the beef.
Step 2: Season with salt and pepper, then coat it with cornstarch.
Step 3: Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.
Step 4: Add 1 tablespoon of oil and allow it to become hot.
Step 5: Add the green beans and cook for about a minute.
Step 6: Add a bit of water, then cover it with a lid.
Step 7: Add the beef and cook for 3 minutes or until done.
Step 8: Turn the heat down to medium, then add the garlic soy sauce, ginger, sugar, and vinegar. Stir until well mixed.
Step 9: Cook for a few more minutes.
Step 10: Serve and enjoy!
