This incredible recipe was given to me by my dear friend, Alice. Oh, man, I am so glad that I gave it a try because I never would have tasted perfection! Try this now and feel free to add more ingredients if you prefer. Have a wonderful day, friends. Enjoy!
1 pound peeled deveined shrimps
3 tablespoons butter
1/2 tablespoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
2 garlic cloves
12 ounces jar of roasted peppers
3/4 c Half and Half or heavy cream
3/4 c Parmesan cheese shredded
salt to taste
chopped parsley to garnish
Step 1: In a blender, add the roasted peppers and the liquid. Pulse until the texture becomes smooth.
Step 2: Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.
Step 3: Add butter and allow it to melt.
Step 4: Add the shrimp, red pepper flakes, and paprika. Stir and cook for 5 minutes or until done.
Step 5: Reduce the heat to low, then add the garlic and saute for a minute or until aromatic.
Step 6: Reduce the heat to medium and add the roasted puree. Stir and cook for 10 minutes or until it reduces its volume.
Step 7: Add the Parmesan cheese and half & half. Stir and allow it to simmer.
Step 8: Put the shrimps back to the skillet and toss until well combined. Allow the mixture to become hot.
Step 9: Remove the skillet from the heat and sprinkle a generous amount of Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley on top.
Step 10: Serve and enjoy!
