This recipe has always been a part of my family since I was a little kid. I remember my grandma used to make this Simple Seafood Casserole all the time! I am so grateful to her for a lot of things including this awesome recipe. Now, allow me to share it with you! I have listed all the ingredients and directions so all you need to do is to follow them step by step and you are good to go! Feel free to add more ingredients to this if you wish. Ingredients:
1/2 – 3/4 c heavy cream
1 lb. large shrimp cleaned and deveined
1 lb. haddock cleaned and skinned
1/2 c shredded Swiss cheese
1/4 c butter, cut into pieces
3- 4 garlic cloves minced
Sea salt and pepper
Paprika
Directions:
1. Prepare the oven and preheat to 190 degrees C or 375 degrees F.
2. Apply cooking spray in a 7×11-inch ceramic-glass dish.
3. Slice the haddock into 1 1/2-inch chunk.
4. Arrange haddock slices into the prepared pan as well as the shrimp.
5. Sprinkle salt and pepper on top to season.
6. Add the minced garlic over the ingredients.
7. Pour the heavy cream on top and spread it evenly.
8. Sprinkle the Swiss cheese on top.
9. Arrange the butter all over the ingredients.
10. Sprinkle paprika over everything.
11. Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes or until done.
12. Remove from the oven and let the seafood casserole rest for a few minutes.
13. Serve warm and enjoy!
Note:
Feel free to add more scallops to this recipe if you prefer.
