Super tender meat coated with a delicious BBQ sauce is what you just need today! This recipe is pretty simple. It’s something to look forward to for dinner. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 beef bouillon cube
4-5 pounds beef brisket, trimmed of fat
1/2 c barbecue sauce, plus more for serving
1 c water
FOR THE RUB:
2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp cumin
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
2 tsp onion powder
1 tsp ground mustard
1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 tbsp paprika
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat it to 218 degrees C or 425 degrees F.
Line parchment paper onto a baking sheet. Coat the inside of the slow cooker with oil.
Use paper towels to pat dry the brisket. Slice if it doesn’t fit in the slow cooker.
In a mixing bowl, add onion powder, paprika, and brown sugar. Whisk until well incorporated.
Sprinkle the mixture over the brisket and rub it well until fully coated.
Put the brisket onto the prepared baking sheet.
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake the brisket for about half an hour or until done.
In a mixing bowl, add Worcestershire sauce, BBQ sauce, and 1 cup of water. Stir until well blended.
Remove the brisket from the oven and place it in the prepared slow cooker.
Cover and seal the slow cooker, then cook the brisket for about 8 to 10 hours on a low setting. Make sure to flip the brisket halfway through the cooking time to cook all sides.
Transfer the brisket onto the baking sheet, then brush it generously with the BBQ sauce.
Put it in the oven and broil for about 5 to 10 minutes or until done.
Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes at room temperature.
Slice the brisket into even servings.
Serve with the rest of the BBQ sauce. Enjoy!
