You don’t need an oven to make the best cake! All you need is a slow cooker to do all the magic for you! This Chocolate Lava Cake is one of my favorite cakes ever! It is very easy to prepare. All you need are these easy steps and simple ingredients, and you are good to go! The best dessert you will serve today is less than 3 hours from achieving! Don’t wait another minute and start prepping. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
Cake Ingredients:
1/2 c vegetable oil
3 Eggs
1 box chocolate cake mix 15.25 ounces
2 c chocolate chips 1 (12 ounces) bag
1 1/4 c whole milk
1 box instant chocolate pudding 3.9 ounces
Optional Ingredients
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 c sour cream
Directions:
Apply cooking spray inside the slow cooker.
In the bowl of a stand mixer, add eggs, cake mix, 1 1/4 cup milk, pudding mix, and oil. Beat for about a minute on low speed or until well incorporated.
Turn the speed to medium, then beat for another 3 minutes or until the texture of the batter becomes smooth.
Transfer the batter into the greased slow cooker and spread it evenly.
Scatter the chocolate chips over the batter. Make sure not to stir.
Cover and seal the slow cooker, then cook the batter for about 2 1/2 hours on a low setting or until done.
Let the cake cool for a few minutes before serving.
Serve and enjoy!
Note:
Feel free to add more sour cream if you want your cake to be extra moist!
