I can’t count how many times I made this Slow Cooker Crack Chicken! It is my ultimate comfort food! With very simple ingredients, you can have the most satisfying food today! The combination of all the flavors complements very well with each other to make this perfect dish! It is low-carb so you won’t feel guilty eating a lot of it! You can either use chicken breasts or chicken thighs for this recipe. Try it now and prepare to fall in love with the first bite. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
8 ounces bacon (cooked crispy and crumbled)
1 c cheddar cheese (shredded)
2 packets (1 ounce each) of dry Ranch seasoning
3 boneless chicken breasts
1 tsp garlic powder
16 ounces cream cheese
Garnish:
Chopped green onions
Extra cooked bacon
Serve on burger buns
Directions:
Add cheddar cheese, chicken, garlic powder, Ranch seasoning, and cream cheese into the slow cooker. Stir everything until well blended.
Cover and seal the slow cooker, then cook the mixture for 6 to 8 hours on a low setting or 4 hours on a high setting. When the chicken breasts are fork-tender, shred them with two forks. Stir everything until well incorporated. Stir in the crumbled bacon.
Serve right away on buns. Enjoy!
Notes:
Top each serving with more crumbled bacon and green onions.
Feel free to add milk or broth if the texture of the sauce is too thick.
You can use chicken thighs instead of chicken breasts for this recipe.
Place any leftovers in an airtight container, then put them in the fridge. Reheat in the oven or microwave for a few minutes before serving again.
