Ingredients:
6 chicken thighs bone and skin on
3 green onions from tip to tail with root trimmed
1/2 yellow onion
1/2 jalapeno pepper de-seeded and de-veined
1/3 c soy sauce
1/4 c distilled white vinegar
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tbsp brown sugar
2 tsp thyme
1/4 tsp ground cloves
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground allspice
Directions:
Step 1: Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.
Step 2: Add the chicken thighs and cook for 5 minutes on both sides.
Step 3: Add the jalapeno, green onions, soy sauce, onion, brown sugar, thyme, cloves, nutmeg, allspice, and puree into the food processor. Pulse until smooth.
Step 4: Add the chicken into the slow cooker as well as the mixtures.
Step 5: Cover the slow cooker cook for about 8 hours on low heat.
Step 6: Serve and enjoy!
