This is one of the simplest recipes I’ve tried. The ingredients required are just simple pantry ingredients. This ranch crack chicken does not need any supporting side dishes as this is excellent on its own. But, this is also perfect in a tortilla, on a sandwich, or as a dip. For a low-carb option, you can serve this on a lettuce wrap. And another best thing about this recipe is you are welcome to use your favorite type of cheese!
My family is always raving about this slow cooker ranch crack chicken. The mixture of cheddar cheese, ranch seasoning, and bacon is what makes this “crack”. If you are looking for an easy dinner that your family will undoubtedly love, you have to give this recipe a try soon.
Ingredients
1 (8 oz.) package of cream cheese
3 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
2 tbsp sliced green onions
1 packet ranch seasoning mix
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
How to make Slow Cooker Ranch Crack Chicken
Step 1: Using non-stick cooking spray, grease a slow cooker.
Step 2: In the bottom of the greased slow cooker, place the chicken breasts. On top, sprinkle the ranch seasoning and top with cream cheese slices.
Step 3: Cover with the lid and set to cook for 6 hours on low.
Step 4: Once the chicken is ready, shred the chicken using two forks. Stir well until mixed with the cream cheese.
Step 5: On top, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese. Replace the lid to melt the cheese.
Step 6: Before serving, top the chicken with bacon and some sliced green onions. Enjoy!
Note:
Serve this slow cooker ranch crack chicken over low-carb pasta, cauliflower, or zoodles for a keto low-carb meal. Or over crackers, bread, or by itself if serving as an appetizer.
