Sloppy Joes are always a hit at home. Sloppy Joes are my kid’s favorite comfort food. A true and tested classic that is loved by so many! This is easy to make made with ground beef, tomato sauce, brown sugar, and seasoning. And this slow cooker version will make life so much easier!

Ingredients
1 1/2 lbs ground beef
2 tsp vegetable oil
16 oz. tomato sauce
2 tbsp brown sugar
1/2 tsp onion powder
1 tsp prepared mustard
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 c. ketchup
6 hamburger buns
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
6 slices yellow cheese
Salt and pepper (to taste)
How to make Slow Cooker Sloppy Joes
Step 1: In a large pan, heat the oil over medium-high heat.
Step 2: In the pan once the oil is hot, add the ground beef and season with salt and pepper. Cook the beef for about 6 to 8 minutes until browned, breaking the meat into small pieces as it cooks using a wooden spoon.
Step 3: To the slow cooker, transfer the browned beef. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
Step 4: Cover the slow cooker and set it to cook for 3 hours on high or 6 hours on low.
Step 5: Onto the hamburger buns, spoon the meat, and top with cheese. Serve the sloppy Joes right away. Enjoy!
