This recipe is for the win! Not only that this is easy and quick to throw together, but this is also absolutely amazing! The star in this recipe is sour cream. And my family loves sour cream! Sour cream has a tangy taste and is packed with healthy fats, protein, and nutrients. If you love sour cream, I am pretty sure you’ll dig this smothered cheesy sour cream chicken!

How to make Smothered Cheesy Sour Cream Chicken
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 375 degrees. Using olive oil, lightly coat a rectangular baking dish. This will ensure the chicken does not stick.
Step 2: Combine the sour cream, half c. Parmesan, oregano, basil, garlic powder, cornstarch, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
Step 3: In the prepared baking dish, arrange the chicken breasts. On top of each piece of chicken, add a slice of mozzarella. Then, cover with the sour cream mixture. Sprinkle over a bit of Parmesan.
Step 4: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake the chicken breasts for about 1 hour.
Step 5: Remove from the oven when done and serve the Smothered Cheesy Sour Cream Chicken immediately garnished with some chopped parsley. Enjoy!
