This Steak Fajita is absolutely the best fajita I have ever tasted! Once you try this, you’ll never be going to need any other fajita recipes. Incredibly easy to make using just a few simple pantry ingredients and ready in a snap.
This steak fajita recipe guarantee tender and flavorful steak. This is a winning recipe you can easily make at home. Plus, the colorful veggies make this steak fajita extra special. To serve, place the meat onto warmed tortillas. Top with peppers and onions and garnish with some cilantro and drizzles of fresh lime juice.
Ingredients
2 tbsp olive oil
2 lbs. skirt steak, thinly sliced
2 tbsp cumin
1 tbsp dried oregano
1/2 orange juice
2 tbsp garlic powder
1/4 c. lime juice
2 bell peppers, thinly sliced
2 large onions, one thinly sliced and one whole
2 red bell peppers, thinly sliced
Tortillas, warm
2 tbsp paprika
1 tbsp salt
Lime wedges
Cilantro
How to make Steak Fajita
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 425 degrees.
Step 2: Place the steak, cumin, paprika, salt, garlic powder, and dried oregano in a large bowl. Then, pour in the orange juice along with the lime juice. Massage the steak until completely coated and set aside.
Step 3: In half, slice the onion. In the middle of a rimmed baking sheet, place one side down of the onion. Then, in the center of the onion, place a large bamboo skewer and layer up the steak. Top it with the other half of the onion.
Step 4: On the baking sheet, lay out the sliced onion and peppers and drizzle with olive oil.
Step 5: Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 35 to 40 minutes or until completely cooked.
Step 6: Take the meat out of the oven and slice.
Step 7: To a warmed tortilla, add the meat. On top, place the peppers and onions. Before serving, garnish with some cilantro and fresh lime juice. Enjoy!
