Ingredients:
3 tbsp butter, melted
24 fresh mushrooms
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp minced green onions
1 tsp lemon juice
1 c diced cooked crabmeat
½ c soft bread crumbs
1 Egg, beaten
½ tsp dried dill weed
¾ c shredded Monterey Jack cheese, divided
¼ c dry white wine
Directions:
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 200 degrees C or 400 degrees F.
Step 2: Brush with melted butter a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Step 3: Cut the stems of the mushrooms. Chop the stems finely.
Step 4: Place a saucepan on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Step 5: Add 2 tablespoons of butter and allow it to melt.
Step 6: Add the finely chopped stems together with green onions. Sauté for about 3 minutes or until translucent, then remove from the heat.
Step 7: Add the crab meat, egg, soft breadcrumbs, 1/4 cup of Monterey Jack Cheese, dill weed, and lemon juice. Stir until well combined.
Step 8: Toss in the mushroom caps and stir until well coated with the butter sauce.
Step 9: Stuff each mushroom cap with the crab meat mixture and sprinkle a generous amount of cheese on top.
Step 10: Pour wine all over the mushrooms.
Step 11: Place the baking dish inside the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes or until done.
Step 12: Serve and enjoy!
