Breakfast for champions! This incredible Tater Tot Sausage Breakfast Casserole will satisfy your pretty much all day! Oh, man, you have got to give this recipe a try! I got this recipe from the internet about two weeks ago. Now, I get to share it with you as well! How awesome is that? Feel free to tweak this recipe to your liking. Ingredients:
1-1/2 c shredded cheddar cheese
1 (30-32 ounces) bag frozen tater tots
2 pounds hot breakfast sausage
8 Eggs
1/2 c mozzarella cheese
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
2 c milk
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Directions:
1. Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
2. Apply cooking spray in a 9×13-inch baking pan.
3. Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
4. Add the sausage, then cook until crumbly and brown. Discard any excess grease.
5. Transfer the browned sausage into a mixing bowl, then add the cheeses and tater tots. Toss everything until well combined.
6. Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking pan.
7. In another mixing bowl, add the eggs, garlic powder, milk, salt, and pepper. Beat until well mixed.
8. Pour the mixture on top of the tater tot mixture and spread it evenly.
9. Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about an hour or until done.
10. Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes at room temperature.
11. Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes:
Feel free to prepare this the night before. Just cover it and place it inside the fridge until ready to bake.
