TEXAS ROADHOUSE STEAK SEASONING RECIPE

by Sheryl October 3, 2020

I love steak! Who doesn’t right? Well, anyway, this recipe that I am sharing with you today is what makes steak taste delicious! A very easy combination of different kinds of spices. I have listed all the steps and ingredients so all you need to do is to follow them step by step and they will guide you to perfection! Just a little back story about this seasoning. My Grandma was the first one to make this. It is not particularly her recipe but she introduced it to us. I remember steak Sundays! God, I love steak Sundays at her house. There was a lot of food, especially steak and barbeque. Of course, what she used to season everything was this Texas Roadhouse Steak Seasoning! How I wish to come back to good old days! Anyway, enough with the reminiscing and nostalgia. I hope you all love this incredible recipe of seasoning. Feel free to add more ingredients if you feel like it. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons kosher salt
2 teaspoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
½ teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon chilli powder
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon garlic salt
¼ teaspoon onion powder
¼ teaspoon turmeric

Directions:

Step 1: In a medium mixing bowl, add 2 tablespoons of brown sugar, 2 tablespoons of kosher salt, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, onion powder, turmeric, and garlic salt. Stir until well mixed.

Step 2: Add chilli and paprika for a little kick.

Step 3: Add medium-sized pepper and stir until well mixed.

Step 4: Pour in all the seasonings in a resealable plastic bag. Seal and shake until everything is well combined.

Step 5: Make a diagonal cut on the bottom of the bag and transfer it into a small spice jar.

Note:

This seasoning is perfect to go with steak, fish, chicken, and pretty much everything!
