This is the easiest BBQ chicken I have ever made! And nothing beats the flavor of this crockpot BBQ chicken. I love serving this BBQ chicken on buns, but it is also amazing over rice, in wraps, or even on a salad. My husband loves his BBQ chicken on fresh rolls topped with a generous serving of coleslaw.
Ever since I first made this BBQ chicken, I knew this would be a repeat at home. My family immediately loves this BBQ chicken. This has been a part of our meal rotation for years, and we make this almost weekly! This BBQ chicken is insanely good, I am always vouching for this. I know nothing will beat BBQ chicken straight off the grill, but this crockpot version is as good! Plus, you do not need to sweat over a hot grill! 1 c. BBQ sauce
1/4 c. Italian dressing
2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/4 c. brown sugar
salt to taste
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
HOW TO MAKE THE BEST CROCKPOT BBQ CHICKEN
Step 1: Lightly season the chicken breast with salt. Then, place them in the crockpot.
Step 2: Place the BBQ sauce, Italian dressing, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce in a mixing bowl. Mix well until combined, then pour this over the chicken.
Step 3: Cover the crockpot and set it to cook for 3 to 4 hours on high.
Step 4: Once the chicken is ready, you can serve it whole or shredded. Once shredded, allow the chicken to cook for another 10 to 15 minutes in the sauce.
Step 5: Serve the BBQ chicken over rice, on buns, in wraps, or with salad, or enjoy as is. My personal favorite is to serve the bbq chicken on fresh rolls topped with coleslaw.
