Ingredients:
BUTTER CAKE
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup unsalted butter
2 cups of sugar
1 cup milk
1 Tablespoon white vinegar
4 large Eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
BUTTER GLAZE
1 cup of sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter
3 Tablespoons brandy (water can be substituted)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Step 2: Apply cooking spray and sprinkle flour into a 10-inch Bundt pan.
Step 3: Add the baking powder, flour, salt, and baking soda into a large mixing bowl. Whisk until well mixed.
Step 4: In another mixing bowl, add sugar and butter. Beat until creamy.
Step 5: In another mixing bowl, add the vinegar and milk. Stir until well blended.
Step 6: Add eggs gradually into the butter mixture and beat every addition.
Step 7: Add vanilla and stir until well mixed.
Step 8: Add the vinegar-milk mixture and stir until well mixed.
Step 9: Transfer the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
Step 10: Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for 1 hour or until a toothpick comes out clean after inserting it in the middle.
Step 11: Use a fork to poke small holes over the cake.
Step 12: Place a saucepan on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Step 13: Add butter, brandy, and sugar. Stir and cook until well blended.
Step 14: Remove the pan from the heat, then add the vanilla. Stir until well mixed.
Step 15: Spread the mixture on top of the cake and make sure to fill each of the small holes.
Step 16: Let the cake rest for 30 minutes at room temperature.
Step 17: Serve and enjoy!
