How to make The BEST Tater Tot Casserole
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 375 degrees F. Using cooking spray, lightly grease an 8 or 9-inch baking dish and set aside.
Step 2: In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until browned. Then, drain the excess grease.
Step 3: To the skillet, add the onions and cook for about 4 to 5 minutes, stirring often until translucent. Next, add the garlic and cook for another minute until aromatic.
Step 4: Add the Worcestershire sauce. Stir and season with salt and pepper.
Step 5: Into the prepared baking dish, transfer the ground beef mixture, evenly spreading it. On top, pour the cream of mushroom soup, then the green beans and cheddar cheese. Do not forget to season the green bean layer.
Step 6: Place the tater tots on top.
Step 7: Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 35 to 40 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the tater tots are golden brown.
Step 8: Remove from the oven when done and serve the casserole right away. Enjoy!
