This Cinnamon Apple Cake is my favorite fall dessert. This cake has my favorite apples and cinnamon combination. Soft and tender apple cake filled with fresh apples with crunchy cinnamon topping and drizzles of sweet frosting. Easily make this Cinnamon Apple Cake from scratch and impress everyone with the best fall dessert!
Everyone loves a piece or two of this soft and sweet cake packed with fresh, juicy apples. And the sugary cinnamon and sweet milk glaze (optional, but recommended) is an impressive touch. I would not want this cake anyway!
This cake is made with just a couple of pantry staples. You can easily whip this up in under an hour. This cake tastes superb! A winner cake recipe that you should not miss!
INGREDIENTS
2 large eggs
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 large apple, peeled and chopped
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
1 c. vegetable oil
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 c. dark brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated white sugar
How to make This Cinnamon Apple Cake
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees F. Ready a 9-inch round cake pan. Lightly grease and set aside.
Step 2: Place the eggs and oil in a medium bowl. Beat well until blended. Then, ad the cinnamon along with the white and brown sugars, and vanilla extract. Mix well until incorporated.
Step 3: Next, add the flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder. Whisk well until blended. Add the apples and nuts and gently fold.
Step 4: Into the prepared pan, pour the batter. Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle of the cake comes out clean.
Step 5: Remove from the oven when done and allow the cake to cool for about 15 minutes.
Step 6: Slice the cake and serve. Enjoy!
