½ c. butter, melted
1 c. Oreos, crushed
2 lbs cream cheese
3 tbsp bitter cocoa
⅔ c. icing sugar
1 c. chocolate, chopped, and ¼ c. butter, to coat
2 c. semi-bitter chocolate, melted (to decorate)
1 tbsp cornstarch
4 tbsp water
How to make Triple Chocolate Oreo Cheesecake
Step 1: To the crushed Oreos, add the melted butter and mix well.
Step 2: Into the base of a round mold, crush the mixture, and set aside.
Step 3: Beat the cream cheese, icing sugar, and cocoa until blended.
Step 4: Add the eggs, one piece at a time. Next, add the melted chocolate and finally the cornstarch-water mixture. Mix well until combined, then pour into the mold.
Step 5: Place in the oven and bake for about 1 hour at 300 degrees. Remove from the oven when done, and let the cake cool.
Step 6: Once cooled, cover the cake with a layer of chocolate melted with butter. Let this cool again before decorating with chocolate chips.
