If you are planning on having a BBQ, then don’t forget about the side dish! This recipe I am sharing with you happens to be the best side dish to go with any BBQ dish! This Tuna Pasta Salad is super easy to prepare! It will only take you 17 minutes for this one! The combination of tuna, eggs, onion, celery, macaroni, peas, and a delicious dressing is perfectly balanced! You will not be disappointed with this recipe at all. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
12 ounces of frozen Peas thawed
1 1/4 c Mayo
1/2 teaspoon Mustard
1/2 Red Onion, diced
4 stalks of Celery, diced
1 pound Pasta I used Elbow Macaroni
1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1 teaspoon Salt
1/4 teaspoon Dill
1/2 teaspoon Pepper
1/4 c Relish
4 5 ounces cans of Tuna, drained
6 hardboiled, Eggs diced
Directions:
1. Place a large pot with water on the stove and turn the heat to high. Allow the water to boil.
2. Add the pasta and a bit of salt, then cook for a few minutes, according to the instructions provided on the package. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside.
3. Add mustard, garlic powder, salt, pepper, dill, mayonnaise, and relish into a mixing bowl. Stir everything until well blended.
4. In another mixing bowl, add the remaining ingredients as well as the cooked pasta.
5. Pour the mixed dressing over the pasta, then toss everything until well combined.
6. Wrap the bowl with plastic, then place it inside the fridge to chill for about an hour.
7. Serve chilled and enjoy!
Note:
Place any leftovers in an airtight container, then place them inside the fridge. They can last up to 5 days.
